How Does Domain Name Transfer Work?

Domain name transfers are completely automated processes. In other words, we do not apply a manual process in transfers made to us, the transfer process does not depend on us.

In order for domain names to be transferred, the domain name must not have a transfer lock and the correct transfer code must be entered. Domain name being locked etc. You will be informed in case of any obstacle. The next process takes 5-7 days. This period is an "objection to the transfer process" process that depends entirely on your old company, so it is not a period we apply. In some companies (such as Godaddy), you have the opportunity to confirm the transfer after e-mail confirmations are made. If this is possible, you can confirm the transfer from the control panel and complete the transactions in a short time without waiting for 5-7 days. This opportunity is not available in many companies and you must wait 5-7 days. When the transfer is completed successfully, an information e-mail will be sent to you.

For outward transfers, you can manage the domain name lock status from your customer panel and get your transfer code. Tracking of the transfer status can be done by the company you want to transfer your domain name to. The 5-7 day process cannot be accelerated by us.

For both inbound and outbound transfers, the domain name must not have been registered, renewed and/or transferred within the last 60 days. Otherwise, the transfer will not be possible.
