Centos7 cPanel Setup

cPanel Installation on CentOS 7:

cPanel is a web hosting control panel that can be installed on CentOS 7. Please note that cPanel officially supports only CentOS 6 and 7 versions. Here are the basic steps for installing cPanel on CentOS 7:

  1. Update the Operating System:

    bash
    yum update
  2. Download the cPanel Installation Script:

    bash
    curl -o latest -L https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest
  3. Run the cPanel Installation Script:

    bash
    sh latest

    This command will initiate the cPanel installation wizard and install the necessary packages.

  4. Follow the cPanel Installation Wizard: The installation wizard will prompt you to enter some basic information. Provide the required details accurately and follow the steps of the wizard.

  5. Upon Completion of Installation: Once the cPanel installation is complete, you can access cPanel by navigating to https://your-server-ip:2087 in your browser. If you encounter a security certificate warning, you can safely add an exception to proceed.

  6. Login to cPanel: Access cPanel by visiting https://your-server-ip:2083 in your browser. Use the username and password you specified during the installation.

These steps cover the basic installation of cPanel. However, it's important to review cPanel's system requirements and check for the latest installation instructions, as they may change over time.
